A Wish For Peace.

Hello fellow blog surfers,
I'm afraid I'm still putting up pictures of some older projects and this one was done quite some time ago. It is a C.A.S.E. from our ideas book and catalogue, you can find it on page 32, the set used is called A Wish For Peace, the same set I used to do the Tri-shutter card. The wheel used along the bottom of the card is called Soft Holly and I think it's really pretty, so you can be sure you'll be seeing a few Christmas cards with that on in the future. Happy Saturday to you all,
I've had another busy day, with a class this morning and out to lunch for the fourth time this week! I don't think I will loose any weight this week, but it's been really enjoyable catching up with family and friends for food and a chat. This is a card which I made some time ago after seeing one similar on one of the groups I belong to on-line. It's using the set called Eastern Blooms, which I really like, I also used a few of the felt flowers from the "Flower Fusion" box. I seem to be finally getting back to normality "What ever that is?" A bit of Christmas spirit. Tri-Shutter

Hi All, This was my first attempt at a Tri-shutter card, I saw one that had been posted on the on line group for SU demonstrators that I belong to. It had been made by the very clever Leonie Shroder, this card is very similar to hers apart from all the colours and papers. I must admit once I'd made one, I was hooked and I have made several now. Retro chip board...

Hello visitors,
Here is the card that went with the previous one with the owl on it. The ladies that went to that get together all had fun making one of these, the tallest flower is a chip board one and has been coloured with a sponge dauber and classic ink pad. "Chocolate chip to be precise" The grass in the background is from the set called Inspired by nature located on page 74 of the current Idea book and catalogue. I stamped it in one of our lovely new in-colours called Kiwi Kiss. The flowers are from the set called Good Friend, you can see that set on page 99. I hope you like it, take care and stay inky. Chip board owl.

Good evening all,
Well it's a very wet and windy night out there, so I'm glad to be in the warm and dry. I thought you might like to see some cards as it's been a while, due to all the other activities I've been up to. This is a card I made and demoed at a lovely clients house for a chip board work shop. The client concerned had specifically asked to do chip board covering at her workshop, so I made some birds from our So tweet chip board collection, I put some of the smaller ones on a little tree and this owl was covered with the chocolate chip patterns paper, then I stamped the scallops from the All Scallops set over the top to look like feathers. I finished it off with some choc chip ink sponged around the edges. The eyes and beak are raw chip board that I just daubered ink over to colour them. I hope you like it, take care. Mundaring markets...

I thought I would upload some photos of what I got up to last weekend, I was with my lovely downline Lynne and her lovely downline Sam. We had a very busy weekend with all the people who had gone up to Mundaring to see the "Truffle festival", our stall was in the markets a road down from there and we had loads of friendly and inquisitive people come and visit our Stampin'Up! stall. Sam had made some GORJUS! cupcakes and Lynne made the boxes for them to go into, we made lots of cards and various other goodies, so there were plenty of choices for everyone. It was our first attempt at having a stall and we were very pleased with the outcome, so you will see us around at several other markets about Perth.
