A special gift voucher.

Hello there, I hope this finds you all well and looking forward to a wonderful new year ahead. I wish you all a happy new year and may it be full of blessings and good health.
This card was made for a lady who is absolutely mad on deer, she used to raise them on her land and hand feed the little ones that were abandoned by their mum's. Any way this lady wanted to buy her very close friend a Big Shot for Christmas "I know! what a good friend right" she asked me if I could make up a gift voucher for her, so that she had something to open on Christmas day, because we don't get the Big Shot here in OZ till April ,(Soooo exciting!!) so I had seen this deer on some one's blog a while ago, but can't remember where, (so if you recognise it please let me know and I will give you the credit for the design). I changed things a little and added the voucher holder with some of my calligraphy on it etc. inside. I used all Stampin'Up!® punches and that gorgeous new red ribbon from our Summer mini. My customer was very pleased with it and her friend rang me on Boxing day to say how thrilled she was with it and the present inside. "Who wouldn't be?" Oh well, that's all for today folks, thanks for visiting with me, be safe tonight. Lots of new year wishes and inky hugs from...

I won!!!

You may of noticed the gorgeous little blinkie to the right hand side of my blog, well the night before Christmas I went over to visit my favourite blog which belongs to Kirsty Brown. Kirsty had a little competition running to have a chance at winning a free pass to the fabulous 'UStamp with Dawn and friends' Kirsty has been chosen to be part of their Dream Team of designers "they will be sooo happy they chose her too'' Anyhooo I entered said competition and when I visited her blog today noticed that my name had been pulled out of the hat for the free pass, Whooopeeee!!!! I haven't been sent my code as yet, but as soon as I do I will be off to see wonderful creations with tutorials and chat in the chat room with other stampers and, and ,Oh the excitement! I can't believe I won, I've tried to win a free pass before, but never had success, so please excuse all gushing. Take care all, lots of inky hugs from....

Another punched critter!

Hello everybody peeps, Well apart from almost melting this weekend, it's been nice. I went out to dinner with my stamping mates on Saturday night and we had such a lovely time catching up and enjoying a fabulous meal together. Today has been so hot, so we just had a quiet Sunday inside with the air conditioning, then tonight we had a swim in the pool which was just Divine.
This here little penguin is another little pressie we had given to us at the stamp-a-roos camp, he had a Rafaello chocolate inside him and was made using the Stampin'Up® punches. I will try and upload some new work that I have completed over the Christmas break, keep cool those of you in OZ. Lots of inky hugs from...

Ho ho ho!

Here's a little picture of something very cute that was left on our pillows when we were at the Stamp-a-roos stamp camp back in October. Isn't he cute?? The very clever Pat Carr (aka Punch art queen) made them and the very talented Ngaire Anderson (number one demo in Australia two years running)made the awesome almond rocka which was inside Yummo! I've since made heaps of these with lots of stampin' friends for Christmas treats, using the ever so versatile stampin'Up! punches.

mini handbag...

Hello there, I hope your week has been kind to you all. I am having a very busy week and finding it hard to just sit down to play with all my new stamps from the new mini. This project I'm showing today was inspired by my very clever downline Lynne Purdy, she has done some wonderful work and you can see some of her projects by visiting her blog, you can click on 'My Cherished Creations' on the right hand side of my blog. Kirsty Brown also did a large version of this bag with photos in it. I used my favourite technique of water colouring from the ink pad palette to give this image some colour. Thanks for visiting, lots of inky hugs from...

Homage to a fellow demonstrator.

Hello there, I first saw this beautiful card displayed on it's designers blog, the very talented demonstrator who designed this card is called Kirsty Brown, she is one of Keesh's design team members too. I knew as soon as I saw it that I would have to have a go at a CASE (copy and share everything) I made this to give to a special friend for her birthday this year and she really loved it. I'm not sure if it's quite up to the originals standard but it was my best effort, so this is me paying homage to a very clever lady, thanks for sharing your amazing work with us Kirsty.

A Bit of Smoosh....

Hello Sunday visitors, well it's really hot here again today, but not quite as bad as yesterday. Theses cards are samples which I made to show all the fabulous demos that were on the Stamparoos camp last month. I and two other demos were chosen to show a technique or project for the others to have a go at and this was the technique I decided to show. It's called Smoosh, but I've heard other names given to it as well. It's a good way of making your own background paper to mount images on and that's exactly what I did here. I used the set called Fresh Cuts and stamped over my Smooshed background colours. If you would like to know how to do this technique or would like to book into one of my technique classes please feel free to contact me here. Take care and keep cool, lots of inky hugs from ....

More from Regional convention...

Hi there, I hope you are having a pleasant weekend and not suffering in the heat. I promised the other projects from convention so here is the second one, this one is also made with "Hello Again" stamp set, the ribbon is from the "Ribbon Originals" pack, isn't it lush! We also used the "Retro Mix" wheel on the envelope to finish the ensemble. Very simple and easy to make, but very pretty. I hope you like it, take care, lots of inky hugs from...

Well what a blast that blog hop was, I hope you all had fun looking at all that amazing eye candy, I certainly did. I thought I would keep the new mini theme going with a little tri-fold card we all made at the regional convention here in Perth a few weeks ago. It has been made with the little set called "Hello Again", I will upload the other projects we made, over the next couple of days. I hope you enjoy your weekend and don't get too hot, it's really warm here tonight. Oh well, I'm off out to see some of my stamping friends who belong to an online group called 'Stampgropers', (yes we're all from Western Australia). We get together once a month in a local scrapbooking shop and share all our crafty goings on. I haven't been able to go for a few months, so it will be nice to see everyone, as well as pick up my calendar swaps. Maybe I'll photograph them all and let you all see them too. Take care, lots of inky hugs from....
