Cards made with the chalkboard technique...

Hi again,
Well as promised here are the cards which I made up for my club ladies to make today, we all had a lovely day and everyone made their cards with ease. I haven't done much with this technique before but really enjoyed making these cards, I'm sure I will use this one again. I think my favourite would have to be the second one in Pale Plum and Perfect Plum, I used the background stamp called Floral for both cards and I think I managed to persuade a certain someone who will remain nameless, that it's quite a pretty stamp and worth investing in. I used Whisper White ribbon for both cards, but the second one I died the ribbon with some Pale Plum re-inker and water. I was really pleased with how even the colour came out and how close it was to the card stock. The punches used were the double rectangle for threading the ribbon through, the round scallop, the 1 3/8 and 1 1/4 circles, the corner rounder, Scallop edge and the slot for the ribbon on the top card. I hope you like them, they were simple but fun to make. Thanks for dropping by, lots of inky hugs from ...
