Those of you who know me well, will remember me telling you all about my wonderful experience at Makeesha's fantastic Stamp-A-Thon two years ago,I went along to support a good cause, Like many others I have been touched by breast cancer and lost my sister to it when she was only thirty five years old. Makeesha has a beautiful friend called Lou who I'm very glad to say is now also my friend. Lou was diagnosed with breast cancer for the second time and Makeesha felt she really needed to do something about raising awareness and funds for the national breast cancer research fund. Well the most enjoyable way she could think of to do this, was to organise a big day of Stamping fun and no one was disappointed. I had so much fun I signed up to become a Stampin'Up! demonstrator not long after the event. Because of the great success of the first one Makeesha decided to do the whole thing all over again last year and it was just as much fun as the first one, soooo You guessed it! Makeesha has decided to hold another day filled with stamping and laughter which I'm happy to say Lou and myself are helping out with! You can read all about the previous events HERE, HERE, and HERE!
Fundraiser for
National Breast Cancer Foundation
Yes it is that time of year again, for the annual Stamp-a-thon for the National Breast Cancer Foundation!
We have had two very successful Stamp-a-thons in the past, to raise money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Those that have attended are still talking about it!
I am sure that being a woman who could be diagnosed by the life threatening disease at anytime you can understand that it would be a very difficult trial to live through. So we thought we could help to give back to those that have or have had to suffer through the agony of being diagnosed with Breast Cancer by doing what we love best…..STAMPING!
So far we have received positive response from the Foundation about the event as well as support from Stampin’Up.
So be sure to get your registration form in as places are strictly limited.
