A CASE from Shelli...

Hello visitors, Those of you who went to this years convention in Canberra will regognise this card and those of you who visit Shelli's blog will also recognise this card. Shelli Gardner who is our CEO and co-founder of Stampin'Up! showed us this beautiful card up on stage at convention. Shelli is the most warm and friendly person you could ever want to meet, I was absolutely blown away by her compassion and enthusiasm for her business and all her employees, she made all of us demos feel loved and appreciated. I was truly inspired by her and felt so honoured to be a part of her SU family.
This card is as close as I could get it to hers, but I didn't have all the products that Shelli had used, so mine is a little different, I still managed to rouch "not sure if that's the correct spelling!"the ribbon along the bottom and I stamped the word friend from the sentiment stamp included in this gorgeous set called 'Friends 24-7' I used Versa mark and Pastels for the background images, I also used the matching wheel for this set. The flowers were coloured in by using a blender pen with the pastels. I used a wet brush loaded with close to cocoa ink to splatter over the finished card for that weathered look. I really enjoyed making this card, so I hope you like looking at it. If you've never been over to Shelli's blog, take a moment to stop by and take a look at how very talented she is and get to know her a little better. I have to go do a Technique Tuesday now. See ya, lots of inky hugs from .....
